Throughout my career as a law enforcement officer, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with people from all walks of life. Conducting hundreds of interviews, I’ve delved into personal histories, broken down barriers, and uncovered truths—often in challenging circumstances. What’s remained constant is my genuine curiosity about people and my desire to understand their stories.

I am honored to have received the Peace Officer Exemplary Service Medal and to serve in several roles that allow me to give back to my community, including as a board member for the Canadian Peace Officer Memorial Association, an advisory board member at the True Patriot Love Foundation, and a team leader for the annual Canadian Walk for Veterans.

The Team Ten Eight Podcast was born from my passion for honoring those who dedicate their lives to service. Beyond recognizing the uniform, I wanted to connect with the person behind it— to hear their stories, celebrate their triumphs, learn from their challenges, and create a safe, respectful space for open dialogue. Through the podcast, I’ve had the privilege of speaking with extraordinary individuals, from emergency nurses, doctors, and paramedics to police officers, firefighters, military members, veterans, community leaders, and politicians.

My dedication to community extends beyond the podcast. I’ve served on a mayoral task force, mentored youth through Big Brothers, and even ran for city council to advocate for meaningful change.
